ECAM-EPMI is a French state-recognized Graduate School of Engineering, founded in 1992 by four major industrial groups (EDF, Philips, PSA, Schneider). With approximately 900 students and 150 apprentices, it offers CTI-accredited engineering degrees in fields such as Smart Cities, Renewable Energies, Automation, and IT. Its curriculum is strongly industry-oriented, and the use of the ECTS system supports student mobility.

Poznan University of Technology (PUT), established in 1919, is one of Poland’s leading technical universities, offering over 40 fields of study across 9 faculties to approximately 15,000 students, supported by more than 1,300 academic staff. It received the Elsevier Research Impact Leaders 2016 award for biomedical engineering research. PUT also operates the European Centre of Bioinformatics and Genomics, focused on strategic research and R&D transfer.

Harokopio University of Athens (HUA), founded in 1990, is a public university in Athens ranked 1st among Greek universities by Times World University Rankings 2022. Despite its compact size (200+ staff, 1,000+ students annually), it maintains a strong international network through research programs and extensive Erasmus exchanges. Its Department of Informatics and Telematics (DITHUA), established in 2006, is a key driver of HUA’s research excellence, with over 70 researchers active in ICT areas such as e-health, e-government, and e-commerce, leading numerous EU-funded projects.

ATERMON is an organization specializing in Game-Based Learning and Web 3.0 technologies to deliver practical, lasting learning experiences. Focused on applied research in emerging technologies, it champions Open Education, Inclusive Education, and Personalized Learning with an ethical, learner-centered approach. Operating within a business context rather than relying solely on public funding, ATERMON aims to offer greater quality and flexibility in its educational solutions.

Open Technologies Alliance (GFOSS), founded in 2008, is a Greek non-profit with 37 universities and research centers as shareholders, dedicated to promoting openness through Open Standards, Free Software, Open Content, Open Data, and Open Hardware. It is affiliated with major international organizations including Creative Commons, Free Software Foundation Europe, Eclipse Foundation, and the Open Data Institute. GFOSS actively supports the ICT sector through cooperation with Enterprise Europe Network – Hellas and participates in FOSS Centers of Excellence delivering training across ten subject areas.

Erzurum Technical University (ETU), founded in 2010, is the sixth technical university in Turkey and the only one in the East Anatolian Region. With 6 faculties, 3 graduate schools, and approximately 4,550 students, ETU focuses on high-technology research and socio-economic development. A standout asset is Mucitpark, one of Turkey’s most advanced STEAM centers, providing education to 400 children annually and, through the Erasmus+ STEAMPlus project (2021–2024), extending its curriculum to adults for intergenerational learning.
